Guru Anjali Borbora Borthakur honoured with the prestigious "SRI JAYADEV RASTRIYA PURASHKAR-2024" for outstanding contribution to the field of Sattriya Dance on dated 05.08.2024 in the JAYADEV Dance Festival in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
It was held at Bhanja Kala Mandap Bhubaneswar. It was a wonderful experience that all the classical dances were performed there. Nrityanjalee guru Anjali Borbora Borthakur was honoured the Shri Jayadev Rashtriya Purashkar 2024. Team Nrityanjalee also participated in Naveen Kalakar Talent Hunt . Anjali Borbora Borthakur , very much popular name in SATTRIYA DANCE world. She belongs to Jorhat, Assam, has received the most coveted USTAD BISMILLAH KHAN YUVA PURASKAR from Central Sangeet Natak Akademi.
Anjali has been nominated to be the recipient of the most prestigious SRI JAYADEV RASTRIYA PURASHKAR , which is meant for an extra ordinary dancer from among 7 nos of Indian Classical dance styles every year
Anjali will perform any item from JAYADEV'S GEETA GOBINDA & will receive this Award on 4th September 2024 @ BHANJA KALA MANDAP, BHUBANESWAR , during the occasion of SRI JAYADEV RASTRIYA SAMAROH.

Satriya Dance.
3. Received Junior Fellowship from CCRT, Ministry of Cultural Affairs,
Govt of India in the field of Sattriya Dance for the year of 2017-18.
4. Selected as a “Resource person” for Sattriya culture by Sangeet
Natak Akademi for a 10 day Workshop at Bardumsa , Assam in
August 2022
5. Further selected as a “Resource person” by the Government Of
Assam for a 15 day Ankiya Nath Workshop in July 2023
6. Presented in International Seminar on “The Tradition of Performing
Arts and its contemporary relevance” held at Dibrugarh University
in Feb 2015.
7. Presented lecture demonstration on ”Final Realization of Rasha in
Sattriya Dance and Drama ” to the students of National School of
Drama, Varanashi center at Garmur Satra Majuli in December 2018.
